![]() ![]() On the first page, I used my Pilot fountain pen with a super fine nib and some Robert Oster Berry D’Arche ink. ![]() The desk calendar is approximately 6.5″ tall by 12″ wide, and I find it’s the perfect size to keep on my desk at work to jot down notes, appointments, reminders, to-dos and the like. Even though the paper is unavailable, you could achieve the same results just using the stamp set. Here’s another project I did using the stamp set and DSP. If I thought they were good enough to buy, they certainly should be good enough for me to use more than once or twice! I’m happy I pulled this set out again as it was fun to color and even fussy cut! Sometimes stamp sets are so short-lived that I’m really going to try to give them their due. This is a perfect set for inside sentiments. The inside sentiment is from the Happy Thoughts stamp set in the January-June Mini Catalog.I die cut it 4 times and layered it for some dimension. Lastly, I had this little non SU “hello” die that I thought was the perfect size.Tiny pearls are added to the flower centers.Along with the birds on the branch, I also cut small flowers and leaves to add to the bird image. All the images are hand cut and colored using Stampin’ Blends. This panel is glued to the Rococo Rose panel.I lightly glued it to a piece of Whisper White card stock and trimmed around it so that the chicken wire fit perfectly. For the Whisper White background, I used a retired Chicken Wire Element (which was unopened until now).I cut a piece of Rococo Rose card stock to 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and glued it to the card base. The A2 card base is Thick Whisper White.Well even though the paper is not around any longer, I think the stamps are still pretty and can carry a card on their own. It also had beautiful, coordinating Designer Series Paper. This set was very popular when it first came out in the last annual catalog cycle. Today I chose the Free as a Bird stamp set. ![]() I know we all love what’s fresh and new but I’m going to try to give equal time to those sets that have been around for awhile. HELLO! I’m reaching into my current stamps sets that have been a bit neglected. ![]()
